2022 Fall Mini Sessions

Ever since I started my photography business, I was fascinated by the ideas that people would use for mini photo session themes. As I started booking photo shoots in the earlier part of the year, I patiently waited to try planning anything. With my favorite season coming up, what better time would it be than to have mini sessions during the fall season!

Even though most days during our fall season aren't as cool weathered and colorful compared to the mountains, people definitely still love this time of the year in Southern Louisiana!

I searched Facebook Marketplace for months looking for the perfect props and even built backdrops out of wooden pallets. My idea was to create something that looked rustic and natural, but also fit the theme perfectly. This is my very first attempt at offering these sessions, so I am naturally nervous. The planning and organizing is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I am excited and hope to hear from you all soon!

You can find details and photos of the three set ups that I am offering now. I do have a date reserved for a Christmas Tree Farm and have been thinking of a second holiday theme. They will be announced soon, so make sure to follow my Facebook page for updates!

It took me a while to think of what I would like a fall themed session to look like. Being the nature lover that I am, my first option would have been an open field with a tree line full of oranges, reds, and yellows in the background! Knowing that anything close to that may not be seen until mid-november sometimes, I came up with the photo seen above!

I went back and forth deciding on using my bench or a hay bale. Surprisingly, the bench looks better. I do feel like an antique sofa would be a neat idea though! The only other things that I plan on adding are some more pumkins and flowers, to tie it all in.

I couldn't shake the idea of wanting to have a Halloween themed mini session. I thought it would be a different, but fun way for families to celebrate the season! The picket fences were the first things that I got together. After some dark brown and black stain topped off with spider webs, it honestly came out pretty well. The balloon garland was added to give a party vibe to the session.

After all, the idea behind this is a trick or treat and costume theme! I do have a few more tricks or treats to add, including more props for this one! Yes, the pun was intended 👻

Last year I had read about smoke bombs used for Halloween photo shoots. I had mentioned the idea to my fiancee, Hannah and then ordered them right away!

I have been really excited to offer something like this. It's a lot of fun and honestly doesn't take too long. All you need is a carved pumkin, a halloween costume or mask, and some colored smoke bombs! I already have a variety of colors at home, ready to go.

If any of you are a Halloween fanatic and are looking for something different, this is definitely the session for you!

I also really want to do a pumpkin head Halloween photo shoot! If you don't know what it is, look them up online. If anyone is interested in doing something like that, let me know!

Booking is available for all three sessions. I changed the scheduling to where the date is open to your availability! All you have to do is leave a message at the booking page with your date(s) that you're interested in. Then we will discuss which day works best. Click the button below to check it all out!
